Stuart Mackey is an actor rooted in curiosity, shaped by discipline, and driven by evolution.

He approaches every role as an opportunity to grow—both as an artist and as a human being. Whether it’s through character exploration, deep script analysis, or experimenting with performance styles on and off camera, Stuart’s process is about pushing creative boundaries and staying just uncomfortable enough to keep growing.

With formal training from Limerick Youth Theatre and Film Ireland, and intensive study at The Galway Actors Workshop and The Lir, he has built a strong foundation in craft and technique. A background in dance adds physicality and rhythm to his work, while experience across both film and theatre brings range, nuance, and presence.

Now working part-time as a facilitator at Limerick Youth Theatre, Stuart continues to develop his own skills while mentoring the next generation of performers always seeking out new perspectives, new tools, and new stories to tell.
